Welcome to the Stone Cottage Veterinary Family
If you’re searching for a vet near you that feels like home, you’ve found it. Here at Stone Cottage Veterinary Hospital, we’re all about giving your beloved pets the love and care they deserve. In 2016, Dr. Nicholas Spaccarelli came to own our practice, lodged in a historic building dating back to the mid-1700s. Initially a residential home, our space has seen many transformations over the years, but it still exudes that warm and inviting vibe.
At Stone Cottage Veterinary Hospital, we’re not just a clinic – we’re a family. Our staff is like one big, close-knit bunch, always supporting each other and extending that warmth to our clients and their furry companions. From the moment you call and step through our doors to see our veterinarians, you and your pets become a part of the Stone Cottage Veterinary family.
We’re not just here to treat your cat or dog when sick but to build relationships. Our dedicated veterinarians excel at forming strong connections with pets and their owners. We’re all about giving you the information and tools to provide your furry friends with the best possible care, ensuring generations of pets stay happy and healthy.

Stone Cottage has been wonderful to my dog. My regular vets laser therapy broke so they took her on for regular therapy! We were welcomed with arms wide open. My dog is elderly and they have been nothing but kind to her (and me). I recommend them without hesitation.

I can’t say enough good things about this veterinary office! The entire staff is incredibly kind, compassionate, and welcoming. They have taken such great care of my three year old dog, Zeke, and I always know he’s in good hands. I especially appreciate that they never push unnecessary testing or procedures. It’s refreshing to find a veterinary team that genuinely cares about your pet’s well-being. Highly recommend!

Seriously, the best vet we’ve ever been to. So knowledgeable, accommodating, thoughtful and nice… I recently had to put my senior dog down and he had been getting pain injections weekly. They would come out to my car and give him his shot so he didn’t have to get up and walk in or I didn’t have to carry him, they just went above and beyond. Unlike other vets, I never felt like they were just after the dollar. I always felt like they put his care first before profit and did what was best for him, not for them. A thousand thank yous to the staff at Stone Cottage. 💙

I couldn't be happier with Stone Cottage. Dr. Fitch was extremely caring , compassionate and conservative in her approach. She took the time to listen, explain everything clearly and never recommended unnecessary treatments. Its comforting to know my dog (who is my child to me) is in thoughtful and capable hands. Dr. Duda is amazing also!! From start to finish the experience is very good. Compassionate front desk (when I am a nervous wreck worrying about my dog, they make you calm down) I would recommend this office 100%

Joey and I just wanted to publicly say thank you very much for your heartfelt condolences when we had to put our beloved Boston down yesterday. This was one of the hardest decisions we've had to make, but knew it was the right one for Boston. ALL of you at Stone Cottage Veterinary Hospital were SO kind, caring, understanding and sympathetic during the entire time we were there. We were very blessed by going to Stone Cottage for Boston's final moments of life. We highly recommend others to go here as well as their sister hospital, Compassion Veterinary Center in Highland.

They are always in a good mood , how does this happen ?? I think because they have a great team of truly caring people . We have also been on the good visit checkups & the sad last days visits here and I will tell you they are so compassionate & knowledgeable. They send reminders to you of vaccines and exams, not the least bit pushy about anything !! Their prices are the best in the area , we came to this practice almost a decade ago & our babies & others we see there coming in are always warmly greeted and taken well care of for tests and surgeries . Thank you Stone Cottage doctors and staff for being so comforting to our furry children !

As a first-time dog owner, I was so nervous bringing my sweet girl, Charlotte, to the vet for the very first time. From the moment we walked through the door, the entire team made my partner and me feel so welcomed and at ease. Everyone was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding, which meant so much to us.
A huge thank you to the amazing front desk staff, the clinical team, and the doctor for taking such wonderful care of Charlotte. They answered all of my questions with patience and kindness, and made her first vet visit such a positive experience. We left feeling relieved, happy, and confident that Charlotte is in the best hands. We’re so thankful we found Stone Cottage Veterinary! 🐾💗
