A Loving Goodbye for Your Treasured Companion
No matter how many cherished years you’ve spent with your pet, it is always difficult to say goodbye. At Stone Cottage Veterinary Hospital, we understand how hard it can be to decide on pet end-of-life care. To make sure you are supported during this trying time, we offer compassionate quality-of-life examinations, pet euthanasia, and pet cremation services.
about our clinic –
Big Island pet care center
Dr. Grune, a visionary in the field of veterinary medicine, founded our clinic in 1990. Opening his own practice was the realization of his lifelong dream—to deliver the highest level of care to animals in need.
Through his clinic, Dr. Grune has surpassed his expectations and provided comprehensive and compassionate care for dogs and cats throughout Hawaii. We prioritize client education and have created a comfortable space where pets and parents feel at ease.
Our lovely clinic is located within a retrofitted house. It exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere. The open-air lanai serves as our waiting room, and the surrounding landscaped grounds provide a serene environment to promote relaxation for your pet.
Our hands-on approach ensures that your furry friends receive personalized attention and care. We genuinely strive for the best for your pet and aim to build lasting relationships with both pets and their devoted owners. Our dedicated veterinarians and staff are here to meet all your pet healthcare needs.
Understanding, Compassionate Farewells
Our professional veterinary team is here for you every step of the way. We treat all pets and their families with respect and care, ensuring dignity for you and your beloved companion. We offer complete pet end-of-life care services, including:
-
Pet Quality-of-Life Examinations: Determining your pet’s overall comfort can be difficult. Our empathetic veterinarians will examine your pet’s health and well-being to assist you in assessing your companions’ quality of life so that you can make an informed decision about when to say goodbye.
-
Pet Euthanasia: When the time comes, our pet euthanasia services are conducted in a peaceful, private setting, allowing you and your pet comfort in their final moments.
-
Pet Cremation: We partner with Abbey Glen to offer pet cremation services to commemorate your pet’s life. You can choose an individual pet cremation to keep your pet’s remains as a personal memento or communal pet cremation, where your pet will be respectfully put to rest with other well-loved companions.
